From April 29 to May 20, we are hosting the second round in a regular series of talks and workshops on arts and the environment.

We welcome the public to these interactive talks/demonstrations in faith that they will herald in a revolution of our thinking about how to solve some of our most pressing local and global issues; those of the natural environment.

Terry will talk about the BASH development plan which was designed to save the Perpall Tract Well Fields, a 212 acre plot which contains one of the most diverse terrestrial ecosystems in The Bahamas

Casuarina will speak about her experiences with marine conservation in The Bahamas and the importance of coastal awareness month.

Nikita will officially present Young Bahamian Scientists to the general public. YBMS is a new organization that aims to engage Bahamian youth in the stewardship of their environment by promoting an understanding of the marine sciences.

Matthew will talk about what he calls “the technology of green.” He will discuss the production and consumption of energy and product as well as topics in green design. This will be a broad discussion which includes techniques and tips for green living.
